Rise, Live, Inspire!

Spiritual growth and maturity taught me that everything in life is not always going to be about me. Learning to become unselfish was one of the best things I could've ever done. Loving God and loving people have rewards that will never fade. This is why I want to share my God-given writing gift with the world. While some of my products inspire women to live out their truths and blossom into the women they were always meant to be, the fiction side of me loves tickling the readers imagination.

Why I Became an Author

From a child into adulthood, I've always loved to talk. But eventually I learned that talking too much, too often is not good. Upon learning this truth, and through much trial and error, I eventually became more disciplined. During this season of growth, over time I discovered that there were two things that would never get tired of hearing my thoughts. Pen and paper!

That's when the journaling phase of my life began, giving birth to my first book. In March of 2021 I made my debut as an indie author by self-publishing a prayer journal for women titled, "Beyond Her Faults," (From Scandalous to Grace.)

I remember getting so many messages from women readers expressing how well this journal resonated within them. It helped them realize that it's okay to tell God the truth about how you feel, with no judgement from Him. I was so proud of myself, and all I can remember saying was praise God. Thank you Jesus!

In early 2023 I decided to expand my writing by exploring the genre of fiction. As a result, in February of 2024 I self-published my first fiction novel titled, "Once Upon a Side Chick," (When his glass house met the perfect stone). This story depicts relevancy to some of the very same relationships we've either witnessed in the lives of others, or have been in ourselves.

Within a few weeks after its release, women again started reaching out to have discussions about it. The conversations ranged from how much they either related to one or more of the characters to the feeling of being emotionally trapped. I couldn't believe it, yet I wasn't surprised. That was the whole point of the book.

Rise Daughter Rise Transition

In December 2024 a much needed transitional launch brought about the birth of All Things She, a new subsidiary brand. With this change, All Things She will take the reigns on creating, marketing, and selling of products while Rise Daughter Rise will remain as the parent company overseeing all legal operations and publishing aspects of copyrighted materials produced and submitted.

My Mission

Helping others become spiritually healthy by sharpening them for excellence is how I seek to inspire the world one woman at a time. Introducing women to Jesus Christ will always be the ultimate goal. Even in my fiction I want women to see what He's trying to show us together. Whether it be through our pitfalls, red flags, or poor judgements, there is a growth opportunity in all of it.
